The Unison Preservation Society was incorporated in 2001 to help protect and preserve the historic village and surrounding countryside of Unison. The village was founded in the early 1730's as one of the first settlements in Loudoun County, Virginia.

The Unison Preservation Society is a non-profit organization.

On Sunday, April 21st the UPS hosted a celebration of Dr. Betsee Parker's gift of the Unison Store to the Unison Preservation Society. Members of the community came to enjoy the party and personally thank Dr. Parker for her generous gift. Click here for the full article.
Unison Preservation Society Commended by Virginia House and Senate

Delegate J. Randell Minchew of the Virginia House of Delegates put forth a Joint Resolution (HJ 860) commending UPS for a decade of contributions to historic preservation. The Resolution was agreed to by both Virginia House and Senate in February 2013

Many thanks to all who helped make our 2012 Heritage Day such a tremendous success!
It was a perfect day for the wonderful crowds, the armies of reenactors who played out "The Battle of Unison" much as it would have been seen 150 years ago, and for the music and food celebration in the center of our village.
