A celebration and fund raiser was hosted this April for the Unison Battlefield Historic District, the highly praised and amazingly well preserved Civil War battlefield now being nominated to the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register.

Both the Unison Preservation Society, the Land Trust of Virginia, and Donald and Patricia Brennan, hosted the gala event at the Brennan's historic Llangollen estate in Upperville. The crowd was treated to a lovely evening of elegant music, the delicious catered food of A La Carte, and several noted speakers who spoke on the importance of the battlefield to the history of the Civil War, the status of the battlefield project, and the ongoing preservation efforts of both the UPS and the LTV for our future generations. Thank you to all who so graciously give to support our historic and preservation efforts.
