The 19th Century Dwellings of Unison

By 1908, the population had dropped to 100 persons compared to its zenith of 135 during the mid-to-late nineteenth century. The decline in population and economic activity that began at the turn of the century is reflected in the lack of new construction from that era. The two-story, frame I-house located next to Unison Store is typical of the type of construction appearing around 1910.
